This is the first day ever online for The Better World Homepage. I started this site because there are millions of people online looking to make a difference and no place for them to call home. Until now.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:arial;">Since this is the first day, let me give you a little tour. If you check out the box called <strong><span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" onclick="BLOG_clickHandler(this)">BetterWorld</span> <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" onclick="BLOG_clickHandler(this)">Blogosphere</span></strong> you'll see five headlines from <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" onclick="BLOG_clickHandler(this)">eco</span>-groovy blogs all around the Internet. These headlines will change as new posts are made to these blogs, so you'll always have fresh, new things to check out. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:arial;">The <strong>FREE Donations</strong> section allows you to make donations to several causes for free. If you're not familiar with the concept it might seem to good to be true - but it is! After clicking to donate you'll be taken to a thank you page sponsored by paying advertisers. The advertisers actually pay for the donations. Millions of dollars have been raised this way! As a little nice side benefit, most of the advertisers are pretty interesting in their own right. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:arial;">The <strong>Take Action!</strong> section allows you to....take action :-) It might be sending an e-mail to the Japanese Embassy asking them to stop the Japanese dolphin slaughter, or e-mail Congress to protect or National Parks or e-mailing <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3" onclick="BLOG_clickHandler(this)">CEO's</span> of corporations asking them to do the right thing. It might surprise you to learn that taking action actually really does make a difference. People have effected all sorts of great changes this way. In the future, I'll be doing a post on some of these. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:arial;">The <strong>Our Blog</strong> section links into here, where you can read fascinating (insert sarcasm mark here) blog posts by yours truly. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:arial;">And finally, the <strong>Sponsored By</strong> section features a socially <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">conscious</span> / responsible company looking to spread the word about themselves.
